Mario Gotze is taking legal action against Dortmund-based rap-trio 'Kopfnussmusik' after the group released an offensive song about his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich.
The attacking midfielder's departure to BVB's domestic rivals in a deal worth €37 million has led to discontent among Dortmund fans, with 'Kopfnussmusik' even going as far as to record a tune insulting Gotze.
The 21-year-old is not amused with the offensive lyrics, though, and has decided to sue the rap group as he feels they have crossed a line.
"This dirty song crosses a line and Mario has to defend himself against this. That's why we have taken legal action," Gotze's agent Volker Struth told Express.
Gotze is currently recovering from a muscular problem and could miss the opening stages of the 2013-14 campaign because of his injury.
