Robben: Too much harmony not a good thing

The Dutch winger has expressed his belief that too much calm can be detrimental, insisting that honesty is much more important, even it cannot always be positive
Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has claimed that too much harmony can sometimes have a negative impact on a team.

The Bavarian giants have started the season with a 100 per cent record, registering five straight wins in the Bundesliga and opening their Champions League campaign with a victory over Valencia.

Yet despite their exploits in bagging maximum points thus far, Robben warned his team-mates not to go overboard with the feel-good factor in the dressing room and not hold back in making their feelings known.

"It is important that it sometimes there are clashes between team-mates," he told Sport 1. "We need eachother to tell the truth, and this is not always a positive.

"Ribery made a mistake last year; he apologised, and life goes on. I have forgiven him."

Jupp Heynckes' side will look to extend their winning streak to seven when they entertain Werder Bremen on Saturday.
