The young forward is keen to test himself playing for Jurgen Klopp's men, and revealed how his new coach convinced him to make the move to the Signal Iduna Park
The 23-year-old striker cost BVB a reported €5.5 million, and Schieber is eager to repay the faith shown in him next term.
"I agreed to join Dortmund because they are one of the hottest sides in football," beamed Schieber to Sports Bild. "I did not expect the move, but after speaking to Klopp, he immediately gave me a good feeling.
"He told me 'We want you because we know what you can do, and what we can get out of you' and that swept me off my feet. And I think I will fit in well at Dortmund.
"Robert Leowandowski has played a huge role in the club's success and will be a massive presence upfront, but I will wait for my chances and do anything I can to play."
Schieber scored three goals in 18 league appearances for Stuttgart in the 2011-12 season, which included a double against his new employers.
