The club representative has announced that the Peruvian could still join the Bavarians while the side's CEO has refuted talk of a move for the Schalke defender

Bayern Munich general manager Christian Nerlinger has revealed that Claudio Pizarro could join the club in the summer.

The Peruvian forward has already announced he will leave Werder Bremen and has been heavily linked with a move back to Bavaria.

Although an official agreement has not been reached, Nerlinger did stated to ARD that "it does not look too bad" when discussing the possible arrival of the former Chelsea striker.

The club representative also stated that he is "100 per cent sure" Jupp Heynckes will stay as Bayern coach next season despite his failure to win a major trophy this term.

Meanwhile, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has seemingly poured cold water on a potential move for Schalke defender Benedikt Howedes, claiming the rumours were devised by agents.

"Howedes [rumours] were brought into circulation by representatives. Nevertheless, Bayern will look to strengthen defensively as this will improve the squad," he said.

Bayern have already made three signings ahead of the 2012-13 campaign with Dante joining from Borussia Monchengladbach, Xherdan Shaqiri coming over from Basel and Tom Strong arriving from Hoffenheim to replace the retiring Hans-Jorg Butt.
