The 49-year-old believes the club's accomplishments in the past two seasons have been enormous, and he attributes much of the praise to the manager
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has praised trainer Jurgen Klopp for playing an integral role in the club's revival.
Dortmund have won the Bundesliga title for two seasons running and have the chance to add another trophy to their growing collection when they face Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal final on Saturday.
Zorc believes Klopp was the right man to lead the team, as he has brought a new philosophy to the side.
"Thankfully with Jurgen Klopp we have found someone who supports progression," the 49-year-old stated to Derwesten.
"We made it clear that we needed a change. We needed to turn to youth, and develop our own players.
“Jurgen has put optimism and courage back in the side, we are now always evolving.”
