The FCB coach has admitted that his team struggled in the Bundesliga game against Jos Luhukay's men, but stressed that the positive result is the most important thing in the endBayern Munich trainer Jupp Heynckes has insisted that winning is all that matters for the Bavarians in the aftermath of their 2-1 home victory over Augsburg on Saturday.
FCB surprisingly struggled to claim the three points against Jos Luhukay's team, but the coach had already expected a difficult game, and wasn't too concerned about his team's display.
"All that matters during this phase of a game every three days, is winning, and that's what we've done," Heynckes stated at a press conference.
"I always knew it would be tight, and I believe I've been proven right. Augsburg drew away to Hannover and Bremen, and at home to Dortmund. They’re a very good unit and well-organised.
"We didn't find a way to break them down in the first half, we were hesitant and too slow. We hit the gas after the break."
Bayern lock horns with title rivals Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday. They're currently trailing the Bundesliga leaders by three points.
