Bayern want to win remaining five Bundesliga games, insists Gomez

The Germany international netted twice on Saturday to help FCB to three hard-earned points against Augsburg, and is keen to keep up their good run of form
Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez aims to win the remaining five Bundesliga games in the 2011-12 campaign in order to keep the pressure on leaders Borussia Dortmund.

Jupp Heynckes' men recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over Augsburg on Saturday and the striker stressed that there are no easy games at this stage of the season.

"We have five tough games ahead of us in the Bundesliga, but we want to win them all," Gomez was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"We need to get away from this idea that we’ll play every other team off the park. There are no easy wins at this stage.

"Augsburg were on a run and haven't lost for six matches. Given where they are in the table, they played truly impressive football, and we struggled. At the end of the day, we've won, and that's the most important thing."

Bayern lock horns with title rivals Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday.
