'Inter, we will beat you' - Niang wants perfect week
The French winger has spoken of his desire to defeat the Nerazzurri in order to complete a an excellent seven days for the Rossoneri following their victory against Barcelona
AC Milan starlet M'Baye Niang has warned Inter that they will be beaten in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday night.Speaking in an interview following his side's unexpected 2-0 triumph in the Champions League against Barcelona, the 18-year-old stated that, should Allegri's men continue their run of good form against the Nerazzurri, it would be a perfect week for Milan.
"We beat Barca, now we must beat Inter and it would be the perfect week", Niang told Tuttosport. "Inter, we will beat you... and it will be perfect."
The Frenchman also spoke about the talents of a man who will be key to Milan's hopes of defeating Inter - his new strike partner, Mario Balotelli.
When asked how good the January signing has been, Niang said: "Three games and four goals; I think answer that should suffice. He brings goals, strength and speed [to the side]."
The young forward also spoke of his own transformation to becoming one of Europe's most exciting young strikers in a matter of months, and attributed his initial rebellious attitude to there being less emphasis on behaving off the pitch in Ligue 1 compared to Serie A.
"On the one hand, [vice-president Adriano] Galliani made me realise certain things and gave me confidence in myself," Niang added.
"I have also spoken with Ambrosini, the oldest player, and I understand that I must do well off the pitch in order to play better and more.
"In France, it is different. It only matters what you do on the pitch. There's less professionalism; what you do when you aren't playing is irrelevant."
