Guarin: Inter must always aim to win
The Colombian midfielder feels the Giuseppe Meazza side must always target victory, and has stressed they do not have a problem in away games
Fredy Guarin has insisted that Inter must start every match with the intention to come out victorious. The Colombia international believes the Nerazzurri owe it to their fans to always aim as high as possible, and he is eagerly anticipating this weekend's Serie A match at home against Roma.
"We always have to be aware that we’re Inter and that we have to take on every challenge with the desire to win. Next we’ll face Roma and we’re hoping to play a good match," Guarin told Sportmediaset.
"We’re aiming as high as possible and focusing on one game at a time."
Inter have been struggling in away games in the past few months, but Guarin does not believe they have a problem when playing away from the San Siro.
"All our away matches have been defeats after the victory in Turin against Juventus? I don’t believe in any curse but I believe in our work, as well as my own and that of my coach and team-mates.
"Everything that I’m experiencing with Inter continues to give me more of a sense of responsibility."
The Nerazzurri currently sit fourth in the Serie A table.
