Stramaccioni full of praise for Nagatomo
The Inter coach has nothing but positive words for the Japanese wing-back following his impressive performances so far this term
Andrea Stramaccioni has voiced his satisfaction with Yuto Nagatomo's displays in the opening months of the 2012-13 campaign, and feels the Japan international can get even better. The wing-back joined the Nerazzurri permanently from Cesena in August, after a six-month loan spell at the club last season and has since developed into an important first team member at the club.
"He’s one of the players who has improved the most since I’ve been here and he can still become even better," Stramaccioni said at a press conference.
"He’s humble and he works hard. We’re holding on tight to him.
"The individual work that he’s doing with Beppe Baresi is also important. If he also becomes good with his left then he’ll be even more dangerous."
The 26-year-old has made 14 official appearances this term, scoring once in the process.
