Abbiati: There's no problem with Galliani

The shot-stopper has stressed that this weekend's events have had no effect on the duo's relationship as they have known each other for 15 years
Christian Abbiati has stressed that he does not have a problem with AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani after the latter criticised the goalkeeper for his performance in the 2-2 draw against Napoli at the weekend.

Galliani was furious with Abbiati after he failed to save Gokhan Inler's shot for the opening goal, but the veteran shot-stopper does not hold a grudge against the 68-year-old following his outburst.

"Mr Galliani is the biggest of Milan fans, he called me and told me that he had already forgotten about the incident a moment after it had happened," Abbiati told Milan Channel.

"He cares a lot about me, and he has always done so. I know this.

"Mr Galliani has always been very frank and honest with me, both for good and bad but we have known each other for 15 years and we have a very open relationship."

Abbiati has made 10 Serie A appearances this term, keeping one clean sheet.
