Roma coach Zdenek Zeman has come out in defence of his work since taking over at the Stadio Olimpico in the summer.
While the Giallorossi have been one of the most clinical teams in Serie A this season, their defence ranks as one of the leakiest, and they dropped to eighth place in the table after last week's 3-2 derby defeat to Lazio.
However, Zeman does not see their recent poor form as a valid source for criticism and remains enthusiastic about his future at the club.
"I am happy that the club have kept their faith in me. I believe in this project, just as they do. This team has value and can play good football," he told reporters.
"I've never got the feeling that Roma wanted to get rid of me. Obviously, if you lose seven games in a row, then you'll feel under pressure, but we haven't done that.
"When I do something, I am convinced it is the right thing. I have not made big mistakes. It is only natural that I have to answer to the results as I am responsible for the team.
"I want to see the team play football and remain concentrated for a full 90 minutes."
Miralem Pjanic created a stir by shouting angrily towards the bench after his goal during the loss to Lazio, but Zeman insists the case is now closed.
"I understand his frustration and he wants to play, just like all the others, so he let something out after that goal," he added. "The lad came over afterwards to apologise."
Roma face Torino in the Italian capital on Monday, with kick-off scheduled at 20:45CET.
