Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani is currently in the French capital discussing the Brazil international's proposed move to the Parc des Princes, but he has dismissed reports that a deal has been done.
However, it still seems that Milan could lose their influential centre-back, a most unappealing prospect for Boateng.
"To everybody who asked," the attacking midfielder wrote on his Twitter page. "I just hope Thiago Silva is not leaving, then to lose the best defender in the world is HARD!!!!"
Goal.com understands that PSG have offered Milan €42 million for Thiago Silva but that figure could rise to €50m in light of a number of proposed performance-related bonuses.
