thumbnail Hello,

The defender has voiced his disappointment with his side's draw, and admitted that the Turin giants are now the favourites to win the Scudetto

AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate has admitted that Juventus have everything in their own hands following the Rossoneri's 1-1 draw against Bologna on Sunday.

Milan had to settle for a point at San Siro after failing to impress against Bologna, meaning that Juve will move three points clear of their rivals if they beat Roma later on Sunday.

"Now everything is in Juve’s hands. In my opinion, we started the match well. We were playing well and fluently, but Bologna’s goal practically knocked us out," Abate told reporters.

"We tried using long passes too much today. Instead we should have tried with through passes, and passing the ball with more speed.

"History has taught us that the championship is won during the last few rounds. And that’s regardless of whether Juventus beat Roma [on Sunday evening]."

Milan resume Serie A action on April 25 when they host Genoa.
