Mauro Zarate has been recalled to the Inter attack for Wednesday night's Champions League last 16 clash with Marseille.
The on-loan Lazio forward will start up front alongside Diego Forlan, with the fit-again Diego Milito named on the bench.
Although Claudio Ranieri again admitted on Monday that he remains unsure of how best to deploy Wesley Sneijder, the Dutchman has again been entrusted with the trequartista role in front of a three-man midfield comprising Argentine duo Javier Zanetti, Esteban Cambiasso and the returning Dejan Stankovic.
Walter Samuel slots back into the defence alongside Lucio, while Cristian Chivu gets the nod ahead of Yuto Nagatomo at left-back.
As for Marseille, Brandao replaces injured France striker Loic Remy up top, while Andre-Pierre Gignac has been deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.
Marseille (4-2-3-1): Mandanda; Azpilicueta, N'Koulou, Morel, Diawara; Diarra, Cheyrou; Amalfitano, Valbuena; A Ayew; Brandao.
Subs: Bracigliano, Traore, Fanni, Sabo, Kabore, Gignac, J Ayew.
Inter (4-3-1-2): Julio Cesar; Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Chivu; Zanetti, Stankovic, Cambiasso; Sneijder; Forlan, Zarate.
Subs: Castellazzi, Ranocchia, Nagatomo, Poli, Obi, Pazzini, Milito.
