The Argentine coach expressed his desire to see his team remain at the summit and revealed that his players are prepared to take the three points on Thursday night
Los Colchoneros have a two-point advantage over the Czech team, who they face on Thursday, and the coach called for a professional performance to ensure that the Spanish team remain at the summit.
"Being first is better than being second. We are preparing to face the game in the best way," he said at a press conference.
"They [Viktoria Plzen] are tough opponents, hard and fast, but that should give us the incentive needed to win the game.”
"We are trying to be competitive in three tournaments. Apart from [Thibaut] Courtois, [Radamel] Falcao and Arda [Turan], almost everyone has appeared in the Europa League for us.
"It helps the group if we can reach objectives together. When everyone gets playing time I can see how to approach the next games.”
