The 23-year-old insists he has nothing left to learn in France, and says his heart is set on a move to either the German or English top flight and a return to the Champions League
The Morocco international is expected to leave the 2012 Ligue 1 champions after a disappointing season, while director Laurent Nicollin claimed in January that the player was free to move should an acceptable offer be received.
The 23-year-old has now given potential suitors from England and Germany the green light by suggesting that he would jump at the chance to move to either country.
"Next season? I don't know," he told L'Equipe. "I have contacts but nothing concrete.
"I want to go to England or Germany. I believe I am made for that [type of] football, both physical and technical with a lot of risks.
"My wish is to play in the Champions League next season, but I could sign for a club with big history.
"I will not learn anything else in France. I know how we play here. I need a new mentality, new excitement."
Belhanda is currently under contract until 2015, having come through the youth ranks at the Stade de la Mosson.
