The 26-year-old, who joined the Magpies for €6.7 million in September 2008 from Deportivo La Coruna, struggled at St James' Park, and only played nine games for the Magpies.
During his time at Newcastle, Xisco was loaned out three times, once to Racing Santander and twice to his former club Depor.
Xisco's last appearance for the Magpies came in a 6-0 win over Aston Villa in August 2010, while he scored his only goal in an FA Cup tie against Hull in September 2008.
Cordoba currently sit sixth in the Segunda Division, in the division's play-off places.
