Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu has confirmed that his side are interested in Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The 27-year-old is widely expected to leave the San Paolo in the summer, with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis admitting that he may be unable to prevent the striker from leaving.
Paris Saint-Germain and Inter have been credited with an interest in Lavezzi, but Lucescu says that he is willing to include Douglas Costa in the deal to convince the Partenopei to sell the player to them.
"Douglas Costa has a release clause, just like Lavezzi, because he is a great talent," he told Radio Crc.
"I would like to understand where Lavezzi will go, because Shakhtar are interested in him, and we could exchange players.
"Lavezzi could be really useful to improve my squad. I would accept a trade between Douglas Costa and him.
"It is important for the players to change clubs, teammates and coaches after some years.
"Douglas Costa wants to change clubs, but I will only let him leave in exchange for a great player, like Lavezzi."
The former San Lorenzo striker, who moved to Napoli in 2007, has a reported €31 million release clause attached to his Napoli contract, which expires in 2015.
