The Belarusian moved to Camp Nou from north London in 2008, but failed to establish himself in Catalunya, going on to endure ill-fated loan spells with Wolfsburg, Stuttgart and Birmingham City before having his contract with Barca terminated.
Hleb, now 30, will spend the rest of the season at the Samara club and will link up with his new team-mates in their mid-season training camp with immediate effect.
Krylia Sovetov finished the first phase of the season in 14th place, and will now compete in the relegation section for the rest of the campaign.
