Johan Cruyff says Ajax deserve to win the Eredivisie after they showed all their professionalism in beating PSV on Sunday.
Cruyff, who both played for and coached the Amsterdam outfit, believes the 3-2 victory has all but assured the trophy returns to the Amsterdam ArenA, and praised the attacking tactics of trainer Frank de Boer.
"They were set up to be offensively stronger and that boosted their chances of victory," he told De Telegraaf.
"I thought that was very positive to see. Ajax did not look at what the other team was doing, but played the game to win."
The win left de Boer's side five points clear of nearest rivals Vitesse with just four matches left to play, and Cruyff feels those remaining fixtures should not cause the champions elect any problems.
He added: "The remaining four league games are therefore primarily a matter of being professional."
