Narsingh out for at least six months after undergoing surgery
The Netherlands international went under the knife on Wednesday, but his club have revealed that he could be out of action for up to nine months
PSV will have to make do without the services of Luciano Narsingh for an estimated six to nine months after the Netherlands international underwent surgery on a knee injury. The attacker suffered cruciate ligament damage and meniscus injuries in PSV's 6-1 win over NAC in their last match ahead of the winter break, but his physical problems initially went unnoticed.
Further examinations after Narsingh returned from his holiday revealed the knee injury, and the winger successfully went under the knife on Wednesday.
The Eindhoven side have confirmed on their official website that Narsingh faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and will be unavailable for the remainder of the 2012-13 campaign.
Narsingh, 22, joined PSV from Heerenveen in the summer transfer window, and has since scored six goals in 18 Eredivisie appearances.
