Ajax Cape Town star midfielder George Maluleka has more than just one option even though a move back to SuperSport United looks the most compelling right now.
Ajax CEO George Comitis confirmed that there is a buy-out clause in Maluleka's contract and that if Matsatsantsa come up with the money there is nothing Ajax can do.
But the player's business manager, Glyn Binkin, explains that even though SuperSport looks the most likely, there are other options too.
"Look, Mamelodi Sundowns have shown interest in George too, but the main interest has come from SuperSport United and because George played there before, he knows what to expect," Binkin said, according to Kickoff.com.
"It must also be said that George is happy at Ajax Cape Town. Myself and George met with Ajax today and he is grateful to the club for the part they have played in his development and maturity, both on and off the field."
Binkin then points towards what would ultimately be Maluleka's first prize; a move abroad.
"I think his first choice is to move overseas and continue his progress in the Bafana Bafana set up," Binkin said.
It is understood that Maluleka will take the option that best presents him with a chance to continue growing as a player at club level, but also on the international stage.
