South Africa's Masilela to remain in Europe

The Bafana Bafana defender will not be returning to the South African top flight, as his agent vows to find him a club in a European league
Prosport International director Mike Makaab has shot down the rumours that Tsepo Masilela will return to the PSL next season, despite serious interest from Kaizer Chiefs.

Masilela, who is currently nursing injury sustained playing for Bafana Bafana, spent last season on loan from Maccabi Haifa, in Spain with Getafe.

According to, Maccabi Haifa are no longer interested in keeping the Mpumalanga-born left-back, and Chiefs are making frantic efforts to lure him to join his close friend Mthokozisi Yende at Naturena next season.

Makaab confirmed that Masilela has received a few offers from European clubs.

"There has been some interest in Europe and our focus is to keep Masilela playing there," he says."We will take our time to make the right decision."
