Iranian coaching merry-go-round continues as Parviz Mazloomi agrees Tractor Sazi move

The Iranian coach will become the 2011-12 runners-up new coach, just days after Amir Ghalenoei went in the opposite direction to take over at Esteghlal
Axed Esteghlal coach Parviz Mazloomi appears set to take over as Tractor Sazi boss just days after Amir Ghalenoei went in the opposite direction.

According to PressTV, Tractor Sazi announced it had agreed terms with the 57-year-old Iranian coach, who guided Esteghlal to the Hazfi Cup and a third-place league finish last term.

However Mazloomi, who spent time at Tractor Sazi as a player, revealed in the local media he hadn't signed a deal with the 2011-12 Pro League runners-up yet.

“I have yet to sign the contract. I was a member of the team 30 years ago and I am happy to reunite with them,” Mazloomi said.

Mazloomi left Esteghlal late last month after their AFC Champions League campaign came to an end in the Round of 16.
