Sweden-based striker Abdul Majeed Waris and Patrick Nyarko of MLS side Chicago Fire have been given late call-ups to replace the duo
According to a statement from the FA, the duo are nursing injuries and cannot recover in to honour the first major outing of the Black Stars after a mediocre 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
Their French club Marseille, the GFA stated, have provided medical reports to buttress the claims. Meanwhile, two new players have been drafted into the Black Stars in place of the sons of Ghana legend Abedi Ayew Pele.

The two players will join the Ghana team on Tuesday as they chase their first national team caps, the FA stated on their official website.
