The Bit o' Red wasted a number of decent chances as Bohs held out for a draw at the Showgrounds
Rovers boss Ian Baraclough fielded a much-changed side due to injury and suspension, handing Liam Martin his first start for the Bit o' Red. The midfielder did well early on, and went close to scoring on 7 minutes, heading Kieran Djalili's cross off the woodwork.
Dean Delany was kept busy in the away goal as Sligo began to dominate, denying Aaron Greene and then Seamus Conneely. Bohs created little of note, never threatening Gary Rogers, with only Dave Scully going close.
Delany was called into action again after the break, with David Cawley heading on Joseph Ndo's free-kick. The hosts saw Danny North come off the bench for his first appearance of the year, but the striker couldn't find his pre-injury form from last season as Sligo squandered possession and chances.
Ian Baraclough looked frustrated at full-time as the Bit o' Red were held scoreless, slipping seven points behind Sligo in the battle for the title.
