Could do nothing about the opening goal. Looked for the short pass frequently but sometimes put his defenders under unnecessary pressure with poor passing.
Never looked comfortable on the ball. Misplaced too many passes but made a couple of great tackles down the left wing.
Didn’t look comfortable at centre back and failed to keep track of O’Conor for Drogheda’s opening goal.
Made some vital interceptions throughout the game. Showed his aerial prowess in both boxes. Was unfortunate not to connect with a driven corner to grab himself another goal.
Gave an energetic performance at right back and was always looking to get on the ball. Always gave Finn an option to play the ball back to him when in trouble.
Battled hard in the centre of midfield. Rarely gave the ball away and made a couple of fantastic tackles to snatch possession away from Drogheda.
Gave a solid performance, both offensively and defensively. Unleashed Sheppard and Stewart with two particularly pleasing passes in the first half, although nothing came of them.
His short corner set up Finn for his goal. Didn’t look like he was fully fit and seemed tired at the end of the first half.
Delivered a fine performance and worked hard in the final third to create opportunities for himself and his teammates. His sweetly struck goal from the edge of the box gave Rovers a deserved equaliser.
Had little impact on the game. Lost possession too easily and struggled to support the Rovers front men, particularly in the second half.
Worked hard up front closing down the Drogheda defence. Tended to snatch at his chances inside the box and lacked the clinical finishing needed to finish off the game.
Was fortunate to get away with dropping the ball from his grasp more than once from crosses. Left his goal in an attempt to intercept a ball which he was never going to reach and ended up receiving a yellow card for hammering Karl Sheppard after he knocked the ball away from the keeper.
Gave a solid performance from the visitors. Made a couple of great tackles.
Gave a great defensive performance, but misplaced a lot of passes in the second half and lacked composure on the ball.

Defended well down the left wing and got forward whenever possible. Delivered an inch perfect cross to give Drogheda the lead. Put in a couple of fantastic crosses from the Rovers by line.
Showed great vision and passing ability in the centre of the pitch, and always looking to spread the ball out wide.
Gave Conor Powell a few problems, constantly running in behind the Rovers back four and looking for the through ball. Missed a sitter when he hammered a shot over the bar from ten yards out.
Worked tirelessly for the visitors in the middle of the pitch. Very energetic and composed on the ball.
Looked very sharp and comfortable on the ball. Should have given Drogheda the lead when he failed to hit the target with a free header from the penalty spot.

Looked lively when he came on but his poor crossing in the final third was wasteful and frustrating to the home support.
Replaced Sean O’Connor early in the second half and dropped deep to look for the ball when he should have stayed further forward to give the Hoops more options in attack.
