Had little to do as the visitors rarely threatened. Had to wait until the 44th minute to make his first save. Was rounded too easily for Welbeck’s goal, but kept out everything else that came his way.
Second best in the opposing penalty area against Vidic at set pieces but did his job well at the back. Managed to keep Hernandez quiet for the majority.
Booked for a foul on Welbeck. Had an easy first half, but the striker’s movement caused him problems later on. Did end the game strongly however.
Great performance from the right-back, who attacked at every opportunity and linked up well with Snodgrass. Often left Evra for dead. Unlucky not to give his side the lead midway through the first half with a fierce drive at goal.
Delivery uncharacteristically poor. Joined the attack well at times, but was often caught out of position by Young and Welbeck.
Top drawer performance. Linked up very well with Martin and tormented Evra all game on. Put a number of good deliveries into the box. Tired in the second half and was replaced late on by Josh Murphy.
Joined the attack regularly as Norwich pressured the visitors well in the first half, but struggled to maintain possession after the break. Booked for a foul on Evra.
Looked very dangerous down the left-hand side but a lack of composure let him down at times. His final ball was poor on occasions.
Very creative behind Hooper. Heavily involved but his finishing let him down at times. Saw the ball caught under his feet when presented with an open goal midway through the first half.
Looked off the pace in the centre of the park. Booked for a challenge on Evra. Failed to offer a threat at set pieces, despite them being Norwich’s best chance of scoring.
Missed a good chance to give his side the lead when he fired straight at De Gea when left unmarked. Quiet performance otherwise. Replaced by Van Wolfswinkel.
Kept out everything that came his way, though the majority of Norwich's chances were straight at the Spaniard.
As good as ever. United’s best player, was a rock at the back, heading clear everything that came his way. Could so easily have been a different result had he not been on form.
Got his side out of trouble on a number of occasions with alert defending and last ditch challenges. A dangerous threat when crossing the ball into the box too. Dealt with the threat of Redmond and Olsson very well. Booked for a late foul on Murphy.
Awful performance from the Frenchman. Martin and Snodgrass repeatedly got the better of him. Looked more comfortable in the second half as Norwich tired but still needs to up his game if he is to have a future at Old Trafford.
Shaky at times when chased down by Hooper. He grew more confident as the game wore on. Often in the right place at the right time to clear.
Sacrificed at half time as United pushed for goals. Offered little when on the field. Booked for a foul on Snodgrass.
A passenger in the middle of the park. Rarely involved. Fortunate that Leroy Fer was also not at the races.
Was his usual composed self in the middle of the park, helping United dominate possession despite a lack of chances.
Starting in place of the injured Rooney, Kagawa failed to offer the same creativity or energy of United’s star player. Very quiet display, but could have given his side the lead had he not taken a poor touch in the area before handling the ball. Replaced by Januzaj with 20 mins to go.
Drifted in and out of the match. Would have liked to have been involved more. Final ball let him down when he did see it. Wasted a couple of good opportunities to score.
Very quiet in attack. Booked for dissent. Struggled to get involved, but did liven up after Welbeck’s introduction.
A rare, quiet performance for Januzaj, he was barely involved after coming on midway through the second half.
Came on with his side needing a goal and provided just that. His introduction made the difference, with it looking like Norwich, if anyone, would claim the three points during the first half.
