FULL-TIME, and Chelsea stay unbeaten in the Premier League thanks to a very comfortable 4-1 win over Norwich. Goals from Torres, Lampard, Hazard and Ivanovic see of the brave Canaries, who took the lead through Holt in the first half. However, it’s another defeat for Norwich, and Chris Hughton may be slightly nervous as they only have three points from their opening seven games. For Chelsea, their run continues, and they look very strong going forward.
It's all petering out now, Chelsea look very comfortable on the ball. Very, very comfortable.
John Obi Mikel
That should have been five. The ball loops towards the back post, and there's John Terry, who can't find the finish. Shame, and he looks a little upset with his finish.
Entering the last 10 minutes here, this game is all over, and Norwich know it. Shame, as it's been rather entertaining.
GOAL!!! Is he really a right-back? Branislav Ivanovic hits a perfect volley from inside the box, and it's 4-1 Chelsea! Stunning, absolutely stunning.
CHANCE! Torres is clean through again, and nearly makes it 4-1, but for a great save from Ruddy.
Beautiful speed and step-overs from Ramires, and he forces a corner.
Chelsea are starting to dominate here, they're spraying the ball around with ease.
Frank Lampard's race is run, and he'll be replaced by Ramires, someone also familiar with running around a lot.
Chelsea nearly in again, but Norwich manage to scramble Ivanovic's cross away.
Beautiful passing from Chelsea, but Norwich manage to get it clear.
The ball is pinging around a bit, as neither side can hold onto it.
Another penalty shout for Chelsea, again for Hazard, and again the referee says no.
Great shot from Oscar there, and it's parried by Ruddy.
Penalty say Chelsea, for a foul, and they may have had a point. Hazard was blocked off a bit there by Leon Barnett.
Early chance for Grant Holt, who heads narrowly wide from a good cross. He's got quite a jump on him.
That came around quickly, the second half has started.
HALF-TIME, and it’s 3-1 Chelsea in what has been a really interesting game. Both sides look good going forward, but also slightly vulnerable at the back. Goals from Torres, Lampard and Hazard have been the difference, although the Canaries took the lead through Grant Holt. Norwich are beginning to sit very deep as the Blues take control in midfield, but it should be an interesting second half after a breathless first.
CHANCE! That could have been 3-2. A long looping ball comes in, and Holt is there at the back stick, but he sends his header wide of Cech's goal. Great chance.
The Canaries are getting deeper and deeper, as Chelsea's midfield takes control of the game.
Beautiful from Oscar, who wriggles clear of the Norwich defence to get a shot off. Unfortunately, it's weak, and Ruddy collects.
Nice shot from John Obi Mikel, but it swerves wide of the post. This half has flown by.
Norwich have played some beautiful football, and really look good going forward. However, they're in danger of being cut to shreds at the back, which looks likely every time the Blues go forward.
GOAL!!! Chelsea go forward on the counter attack, and there's Eden Hazard to finish after a delightful ball from Juan Mata. 3-1 Chelsea, and this game has been brilliant.
Norwich have a corner, and send forward reinforcements from the back. But, it's dealt with comfortably by the Blues defenders.
It's all got a little bit scrappy out there, as Chelsea's defence struggle with a high ball from John Ruddy. They do look vulnerable out there, despite their attacking verve.
I hate to say it, but Ashley Cole shouldn't be getting his head on that. A cross comes in, and there's the little left-back in between two central defenders with a header wide.
GOAL!!!! 2-1 CHELSEA!!! After Torres tries a spectacular overhead kick, the ball is deflected into the path of Lampard, who comes from deep to slam the ball home! What a turnaround!
That said, Chelsea don't look especially secure defensively, and look to be struggling somewhat with the aerial threat of a certain Mr. Holt.
Norwich look a little shaken after that equaliser, and Chelsea still have a lot of space on the left.
GOAL!!!! CHELSEA HAVE AN EQUALISER!!!! A cross comes into the box, and there's Fernando Torres with a header. It's 1-1, and that lead didn't last long.
GOAL!!!!! NORWICH TAKE THE LEAD!!!!! A long ball from Wes Hoolahan is headed back into the area, and Grant Holt is there to power home! 1-0 Canaries!
Not the greatest defending there from the Canaries, who struggle to clear a low cross from Cole. He's already getting alot of joy down the left.
Beautiful one-two there between Cole and Frank Lampard, but Lamps' studs give way and he slides onto his bottom before he can get the cross away.
Great through-ball to Fernando Torres, who is all alone up front. However, Elliott Bennett comes scrambling back to prevent him getting a shot off.
It already looks like a very open game out there. Chelsea stroke the ball around well, but then when Norwich have the chance they also look good.
We're off, and it's Norwich who get the first half going.
We're not far from kick-off out there, as the players collect themselves in the tunnel at Stamford Bridge.
Big developments coming from Chelsea, who include John Terry and Ashley Cole despite an “interesting” few days for the pair of them. Let’s hope Ashley puts a bit more thought in before he Tweets again.
For Norwich: Ruddy, R. Martin, Johnson, Bassong, Howson, Holt (c), Hoolahan, E. Bennett, Garrido, Barnett, Tettey. Subs - Bunn, Turner, Jackson, Snodgrass, Morison, Pilkington, R. Bennett.
Here’s Chelsea’s team: Cech; Ivanovic, David Luiz, Terry, Cole; Mikel, Lampard; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Torres. Subs: Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Bertrand, Romeu, Ramires, Moses.
Meanwhile, Norwich have made their worst start to a Premier League season in the club’s history, taking just three points from their opening six games. However, the Canaries aren’t quite panicking yet, although if their worrying lack of goals continues, they might be.
Well, Chelsea have been on quite a roll so far this season and are one of just three unbeaten teams left, alongside Manchester City and Sunderland. They’ve named a strong team for this one, and clearly fancy extending their run on their home turf.
Good afternoon one and all, and welcome to Goal.com’s LIVE! text commentary on this Premier League match between Chelsea and Norwich. My name is Chris Teale, and it’s a great pleasure, privilege and honour to be with you this afternoon.
