Shots on Target
That's all from me, Enis Koylu. Stay tuned to Goal.com for all the fallout to this match, and for LIVE! coverage of Borussia Dortmund's trip to Werder Bremen later. So long!
And that's full time. A goal either side of half-time from Mandzukic is enough for Bayern to claim all three points here. It was by no means another classic, but I'm sure they'll take it! 2013 starts with a win for Bayern.
There's be a solitary minute of injury time.
That was almost magnificent from Robben. The Dutchman collects the ball on the edge of the box, spots Hesl off his line, and tries to chip him, but the keeper manages to claim it before it sneaked in.
Just over two minutes remaining now. Any chance of a late goal to warm up the home support?
Again, Robben goes on a lovely run down the right, leaving defenders for dead in his wake, and tries to knock it across the face of goal to a team-mate, but Furth get it clear.
And now Mario Gomez is introduced, Today's two-goal hero, Mario Mandzukic is the man to make way.
ROBBEN! The Dutchman avoids a couple of tackles with some neat footwork and fires in a shot which is well blocked.
A miserable afternoon for Furth is almost capped when Hesl parries Robben's corner back towards his own goal. Fortunately, it falls to a team-mate, who lets him claim it, and a calamity is avoided.
Brilliant moment from Robben, who slips the ball in to Ribery down the right, but once again, Furth scramble the cross behind.
Shaqiri swings it in towards the near post, Javi Martinez meets it, but the Spaniard can't quite flick it into the team-mate.
Shaqiri twists and turns in the box, and although he eventually loses out, he wins a corner.
Schweinsteiger ghosts throw a host of Furth bodies, but lets the ball get away from him before he can shoot and the visitors' back line scramble it away.
Double substitution for Bayern now. The two players who assisted the goals, Muller and Kroos have been withdrawn, with Xherdan Shaqiri and Arjen Robben coming on to give Furth a hard time for the next 20 minutes.
More wasteful play from Bayern there. Kroos darts forward and tries to play a one-two with Muller, who misplaces his return pass.
Meanwhile, Arjen Robben is warming up. It doesn't get any better for Furth.
Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen have gone 3-0 up on Eintracht Frankfurt. Borussia Dortmund play later. Pressure's on them both after Bayern's likely win.
Well, there' surely no way back for Furth now. Despite some suspect finishing on occasion, Bayern really deserve to be two in front. Let's ee if they can add a few more now.
Assist Toni Kroos
Goal Mario Mandzukic
GOAL!! Bayern finally make a corner count. Kroos hangs it in the box, and Mandzukic meets it and heads it beyond Hesl. Bayern cruising to victory.
Schweinsteiger shoots! And it's brilliantly tipped over the bar! That was just creeping into the net, but Hesl makes a great intervention.
Bayern have a free kick on the very edge of the Furth box, but the referee's really delaying it. Tense atmosphere within the Allianz Arena.
A perfect illustration of Bayern's play in the Furth half there. Ribery dances down the left, crosses and finds Muller, who elects to pass it back - have a shot!
Unbelievable chance! I can't believe Furth haven't equalised! Stieber is found completely unmarked in the box, and although he looks to have an easy finish, he stalls over a shot, eventually passing straight to Dante. How did they not score?!
Agonisingly close to 2-0, there. Bayern advance down the left-hand flank again, but Mandzukic can't quite reach the cross.
We saw eight second-half goals during Schalke - Hannover yesterday. Would the same today be too much to ask?
A quick look at the mid-match stats informs me that Furth have made an astonishing 22 clearances so far. Bayern have made one. Tells you a lot about the game.
Normal service resumed, so far. Bayern have barely let Furth have a sniff at the ball. They still need at least one more goal to make things safe, though.
And we're back! Bayer kick off and settle back into a some steady possession. No change there, then,
Furth are back out on the pitch ahead of schedule. One can only assume they've had a stern talking to from Mike Buskens. Second half seconds away, now!
The second half is on its way, and if Bayern can continue to dominate this game as they have so far, there are surely more goals in this one. Anyone have any predictions? Contact me on Twitter - @eniskoylu
Barely two seconds of injury time, and the referee blows up for the break. Bayern only lead by one goal, but they've been incredibly comfortable. Furth have barely touched the ball, and they could be further behind, were it not for some suspect finishing.
Yellow Card Javi Martínez
The Bayern fans want a penalty as Muller is unable to squeeze between two defenders on the byeline, but the referee only indicates another corner, which again, is wasted.
Going into half-time, I'm sure Heynckes will be asking for a bit more urgency from his team. They have had 80 per cent possession, though, so I'm sure Pep Guardiola will be happy!
We're approaching half-time now, and the only surprise is the fact that Bayern are only 1-0 up. Furth have been chasing shadows all match long, but were it not for a howler from the goalkeeper, they'd be on level terms. Extraordinary.
And another great chance! This time Muller is the provider, latching onto a through ball down the right and putting it on a plate for Mandzukic, who contrives to shoot wide from a central position with only a the keeper to beat.
What a chance! A bad clearance falls straight to Ribery, who pulls it back to Muller, but the Germany star skews is well over. Really poor.
And that goes straight into the wall. As dominant as Bayern have been today, they haven't quite hit the heights they were reaching earlier this season.
Once again, Bayern fail to make the best of a set-piece situation, but after it was cleared, there was a hand ball on the edge of the box, and Schweinsteiger, Kroos et al have a chance to shoot from distance.
Yellow Card Abdul Rahman Baba
Ribery wins a free kick just outside the box after being brought down in his stride by Baba - he used his arm there, and duly picks up a booking.
As I say that, Kroos strides forward and shoots from distance, but it goes wide. He's been amongst the goals this season, but he'll have to better than that.
Well, there's the opener. Mario Mandzukic has broken the deadlock, and you can't help but think that the floodgates might be opening.
Assist Thomas Müller
Goal Mario Mandzukic
GOAL! It's been coming! Muller sends in a cross which Mandzukic pokes goal-wards at the near post. It looks to be an easy save for Hesl, but he can only parry it into his own net. An absolute howler!
Best chance of the match so far! This corner ghosts its way through to the far post, where Mandzukic is waiting. The Croatian chests it down and shoots, but Hesl gets himself in the way of it. Heroic save!
This time it's Alaba who powers down the left flank, but his cross it yet again put behind for a corner.
CHANCE! Furth fail to clear the resulting free kick, which eventually falls kindly to Dante, who fails to get it out of his feet. When he eventually gets a shot away, it's charged down promptly.
Ribery pounces down the left in trademark fashion, but Zimmermann fouls him. Big chance for Kroos to swing one in.
Schweinsteiger is the latest Bayern star to find some space down the right, but his cross is cleared fairly simply and goes out for a throw.
When Furth saw the Bayern team sheet, they must have assumed that they could target Daniel Van Buyten, but the big Belgian really hasn't been put under pressure so far.
This getting ever-more one-sided. Bayern have been in possession for pretty much the whole match - I can't remember Furth being on the ball for a particularly long spell at all. Still scoreless, though, which is all that matters.
Kroos' corner goes to a Bayern man this time! But Martinez can only head wide. The Bayern fans get louder and louder, meanwhile ...
SIDE-NETTING! Once again, Ribery switches flanks and drives at the Furth defence, before unleashing a shot which goes into the side of the net via a deflection. They're getting closer...
Ribery takes a pop from distance, but it bounces of a Furth body and goes wide. Once again, Kroos takes the corner, but once again, he fails to clear the first man.
Okay, I'll admit it. I was expecting Bayern to score by now. Surely not long until they create a credible opportunity...
Furth try to counter, with Zimmermann making a run down the right, but Mandzukic fouls the full-back. Nothing comes of the free kick, though, and Bayern settle back into possession.
First real threat from Bayern there. Ribery receives the ball down the right, powers into the box, and his cross is put behind for a corner, which Kroos takes and promptly wastes.
A couple of early positive sings from Bayern. First, Mandzukic wins a throw-in on the right-hand side of midfielder, before some neat interplay between Kroos and Alaba is well cut-out by the Furth back line.
And we're off! Furth get the game under way and pass it around the back casually, but Bayern soon win possession.
The teams are out and we're almost ready to go. Bayern fans - what promises to be a special 2013 starts here!
Well - Bayern have lost just once in the Bundesliga this season, while Furth have won just once - back in August. Is this match a foregone conclusion? Let me know if you're predicting any surprises on Twitter (@eniskoylu). Don't go anywhere!
FURTH: Hesl; Zimmermann, Sobiech, Kleine, Baba; Furstner, Pekovic, Pestos; Sararer, Nothe, Stieber
BAYERN: Neuer; Lahm, Van Buyten, Dante, Alaba; Martinez, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Kroos, Ribery; Mandzukic
Of course, Bayern appointed Pep Guardiola as their coach for next season in midweek, but there's still four months left of Jupp Heynckes' reign as they look to seal the Bundesliga title. Line-ups to follow....
