Yanga heading to Botswana tonight

Yanga squad will travel tonight heading to Botswana for their CAF Champions League second leg clash with Township Rollers on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of the long trip, Yanga’s Media Communication Officer, Dismas Teni said that the squad will contain 20 players and 11 officials and they will pass through Addis Ababa before reaching Gaborone, Botswana.

Asked about injured players, Teni revealed that only Tambwe and Ngoma could miss the trip but other players including fit again Thaban Kamusoko will be in the travelling squad.

“We will depart tonight through Addis Ababa before reaching our final destination (Botswana), the squad will contain 20 players and 11 officials,” said Teni.

Yanga who seek a place in the group stage need a big victory in order to move forward, in the first leg which held in Dar es Salaam, The Jangwani Boys were defeated by 2-1.
