WATCH: My GOTW - Henry and Asensio take on all comers to stun the Bernabeu

Home to the most celebrated team in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium has hosted some of the most memorable goals in the competition’s great history.

This week the reigning European champions head for Paris, ready to finish what they started in the Spanish capital last month when their iconic home saw them dispatch PSG 3-1.

And one of the stars of the show for the hosts was Marco Asensio, who came off the bench to the change the game – and not for the first time.

Last year, Asensio scored one of the great Champions League goals when he set off on a mazy dribble in extra-time of his side’s victory over Bayern Munich, winning the ball in midfield before breezing past the German defence to dispatch his shot coolly past Manuel Neuer.

But was it better than Thierry Henry’s solo strike on the same ground just over a decade earlier?

The France international hit one of the all-time great goals of the tournament when he set off straight for the heart of the Madrid backline, holding off one challenge after another to slide his finish into the far corner.

As we've done throughout this season's Champions League, we put the goals to two famous faces, Spencer FC and Seb Carmichael-Brown of Hashtag United, and asked them to put forward their cases in My Goal of the Week, brought to you by Nissan. Watch their debate in the video above.

And now it's your turn to decide: Henry or Asensio ?

Have your say now!
