Vejle Boldklub sign Ghanaian Fard Ibrahim until end of the season

Inter Allies defender Fard Ibrahim has joined Danish Superliga side Vejle Boldklub in a season-long loan, both clubs have announced.

The 18-year-old will initially be part of Vejle's youth team in order to acclamatise with the new environment and aid his development before an expected promotion to the senior team.

"Inter Allies FC is delighted to announce that Fard Ibrahim has joined Danish superliga side Vejle Boldklub," a club statement read.

"The left back joins his new team on a season-long loan deal until the end of the 2018/19 season," the statement added.

Vejle's talent manager Steen Thychosen praised the Fard and believes it was the right decision to bring him to the club.

“It is part of a future strategy that we also need foreign players in the youth teams. If we want to have foreign players in the youth teams, then they must be players with talent and skills that are hard to find in Denmark and Fard is one of them,” he said.

”Ibrahim Fard is a left back and we look forward to influencing his future development,” he added.

Fard, who was promoted to Allies' first team last season, made 29 appearances in the Ghana Premier League for the club.
