Osei satisfied with Liberty Professionals progression in Ghana PL

Liberty Professionals coach Michael Osei says his charges are having a good run under his stewardship despite their inability to pick a victory after two games in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Asante Kotoko coach joined the Dansoman-based club in May and has picked a point each against Hearts of Oak and Tema Youth.

“I think they are doing very well, and they have responded very well at training. I’m very happy with their performances and their overall output during games," Osei said.

"So we have to keep working hard to make sure we come out of the relegation zone. It’s all about hard work and the team is doing well under me so we will continue to work hard to ensure we finish in a respectable position come the end of the season. We need to avoid the drop,” he added.

Liberty's unbeaten run will be put to test next weekend when league leaders Wafa, who mauled Hearts of Oak 5-0 in Sogakope, will come visiting at the Carl Reindorf Park.
