Kwesi Appiah named Ghana coach

The former Black Stars coach makes a return after departing the outfit in 2014

The Ghana Football Association has appointed Kwesi Appiah as the new coach of the Black Stars.

The Executive Committee of the body approved his application amid five others who were vetted by a six-man coaching search committee.

Appiah will be handed a two-year contract, starting on 1st May, 2017, according to Ghana FA.

He will also coach the Local Black Stars which had always been the duty of the assistant coach.
