Kwesi Appiah advises Aduana ahead of ES Setif clash

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has advised Aduana Stars' technical team to work on their goal scoring techniques ahead of the game against ES Setif in the Caf Champions League last qualifying round.

The Ghana Premier League champions defeated Al Tahady 2-0 on Wednesday in Dormaa Ahenkro to qualify with a 2-1 aggregate and will now meet another North African side before they can make it to the group stage.

“I think Aduana Stars did well tactically [against Al Tahady] but I think they missed some chances and would need to improve ahead of the next round," Appiah said as quoted by Citifmonline.

“I know the coach [Yussif Abubakar] is doing well but he will have to make sure that going forward, he can improve his team. The next game won't be easy but they can make it with proper preparations and discipline,” he added.

Appiah and his assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko, alongside Ghana FA vice president George Afriyie were in Dormaa Ahenkro a day before the game against Tahady to support Aduana.

Setif, who knocked out Olympic Real de Bangui of Central African Republic on a 6-0 aggregate, will travel to Ghana for the first leg next month.
