Kenichi hopes of an improved Ghana Premier League after Anas' exposé

Inter Allies coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has revealed his shock after watching the undercover investigation into football in Ghana by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI crew but hopeful things will improve in the future.

With over 77 referees and top football administrators captured on cameras accepting bribes in order to manipulate games and decisions, the government has subsequently dissolved the entire football association and constituted a five-member committee to manage the situation on the interim.

Dr. Kofi Amoah has been selected as the chairperson of the committee with Ghalca chairman Kudjoe Fianoo, Abedi Pele, Osei Kofi and Eva Okyere as members.

“After watching a full video of ‘Betraying the Game’, I feel there is no proper adjective to describe it.  I just hope for it will be a turning point to a positive direction,” Kenichi wrote on his Facebook page.

Many top-flight clubs including Allies, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea have asked their players to go on break following the suspension on all activities related to football in the country.

Goal understands that the second half of the season will likely kick off after the 2018 World Cup.
