'Deuce Juice' – Washington brewery unveils Clint Dempsey themed beer

Seattle Sounders fans now have the perfect beverage to consume when watching their team's MLS playoff run.

Three Magnets Brewing, a brewery based in Olympia, Wash., recently released an IPA called "Deuce Juice" in honor of Sounders star Clint Dempsey, who is nicknamed "Deuce" and wears the No. 2.

Dempsey's club recently advanced to the Western Conference finals, where they will meet a Houston Dynamo side that knocked off Seattle's archrival Portland in the conference semifinal.

Were this indignity not enough for Portland fans, several of them recently discovered Deuce Juice being sold near the club's home stadium of Providence Park.

On Facebook, Three Magnets Brewing responded to a video of a Portland fan who appears to have purchased a can of Deuce Juice with the expressed purpose of smashing it on the sidewalk.

"Touché Timbers fans," the brewers said. "We weren’t originally planning on sending Deuce Juice to PDX, but our distributor Alebriated Distribution (a PDX gem) said they had customers who’d want the beer.

"And also, we love you (in a non-soccer sort of way) very much (Oly shares a very rich music history with you, among many other things)."

It appears one of Portland's many breweries will now have no choice but to respond. Porter's Potion, anyone?
