England defender Calum Chambers has called for pop megastar Justin Bieber to record the national song for Roy Hodgson's men ahead of Euro 2016.

Every major international tournament offers a slightly cringeworthy national based anthem, and this summer will be no different.

With news of Wales confirming they will be teaming up with Manic Street Preachers to record ‘Together Stronger‘ as their tune, attention is turning to the England squad to see who is brave enough to step forward.

Time is running out for the Three Lions, who kick off their campaign in France against Russia on June 11, to unveil their masterpiece, but Chambers has offered his suggestion.

When asked who he would like to see record an England song for Euro 2016 the Arsenal full-back told CheekySport: "I'm probably going to get stick for this, but I'm going to say Justin Bieber.”

Then, when questioned on who of the current England set up would be first to put themselves forward for the recording, Chambers was quick to reply, saying: “Joe Hart. He’s got the confidence to do it.”

Perhaps John Barnes could make a return to the stage for a re-mastered version of the 1990 hit ‘World in Motion’?
