Asante Kotoko management member Yaw Boafo Esq believes the club will be successful in the 2018 Caf Confederations Cup.
The Kumasi giants defeated rivals Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the Ghana FA Cup to qualify for the continental showpiece after a three-year absence.
"We are not only aiming at just being participants in the Caf Confederation Cup but also to make a great impact and make Ghana proud," Boafo told Royal TV.
"We are happy to have won the FA Cup and that will offer us the platform to play in the Caf Confederation Cup where Kotoko belong. We will do our best to show that Ghana has one of the biggest clubs in Africa," he added.
Kotoko have given their players a three-week break while head coach Steve Pollack will leave Ghana to spend time with his family in Europe.
