The Inter Allies sweeper is hoping that his side can lift the FA Cup trophy for the first time against the Porcupine Warriors
Former Ghana Under-20 defender Baba Mensah has said he is looking forward to the Ghana FA Cup finals on Sunday as his side Inter Allies lock horns with Asante Kotoko.
The centre back has been in fine form for the league debutants and has been instrumental in their campaign to reach the finals of the knockout tournament.
“The finals against Kotoko is not going to be easy but we are praying for the Lord's favour and we will also do our best to come out victorious,” Mensah told Goal Ghana. “Personally it was great for me in the league as I learn more. I also thank God I went injury-free.”
He added: “I am looking forward to next season and also we are hoping to get a contract outside soon.”
Mensah featured for Ghana in last year's U20 World Cup in Turkey.
