The striker was extraordinary with his impressive display against the defending champions, Asante Kotoko. He was the tormentor-in-chief of the Porcupine Warriors and completely shattered their defence in a game that ended 2-0 in their favour. His attacking play was too much for the Kotoko defence to match as he scored the opening goal with a perfect touch. Osae proved to be a substitute option for coach Yusif Abubakar with his enormous physical presence and created opportunities for others.

Congratulations to Isaac Osae, Goal Ghana's 47th Player of the Week winner!

The Shortlist

ALBERT ADOMAH - MIDDLESBROUGH

He scored twice in Boro’s 4-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in the English second-tier. The Ghana winger scored the first two goals in the 8th and 35th minutes to take his tally in the Championship to six goals. In fact, that was the 25-year-old’s second brace in just a week.

GABRIEL AYALA - BEREKUM CHELSEA

Ayala was also a double hero last weekend as his efforts pushed Berekum Chelsea out of the relegation zone in the Ghana Premier League. He scored in both halves to give the former Ghanaian champions the three points at stake after a very inconsistent run.

MAHATMA OTOO – SOGNDAL

The reigning top scorer in the Ghana Premier League finally ended his chase for a debut goal in eight matches in the Norwegian top-fight. The former Hearts of Oak striker scored the first goal in the 2nd minute in Sogndal’s 2-1 win over Sandnes.
