The Bristol City winger insists the Black Stars are not underrating the Blue Sharks when they lock horns on Saturday in the other quarter-finals clashGhana winger Albert Adomah believes the Black Stars stand a good chance of scaling over Cape Verde to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 25-year-old who is making his debut Nations Cup appearance has featured in all Ghana group games.
Kwesi Appiah’s men will come up against the Blue Sharks on Saturday with the hope of getting a ticket to the last four.
The Bristol City player who has been the subject of transfers in England while on international duty with the four-time African champions is confident the Black Stars can beat the Islanders, but remains cautious of their threat.
“We have a good chance because we are one of the favorites but we cannot be complacent because Cape Verde have surprised a lot of people,” Adomah told Skyy Power Radio.
“So we need to be careful and hopefully we can go on with the same level and beat Cape Verde to qualify for the semi-finals.”
