Ghana coach to make only one change to the team that will play Niger as Atsu replaces suspended Wakaso

The Porto midfielder who is yet to shine at the 2013 Afcon will be presented with another opportunity as he steps in for the suspended Espanyol midfielder

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is set to make only one change to his team that will line up against Niger in the final round of Group B matches at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday evening.

The only player who started in the previous match against Mali and will not be available is Espanyol midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso.

Apart from being suspended after a second booking, the 23-year-old was still going to miss the match as he continues to recuperate from an injury that forced him out of the Mali clash.

His position on the left wing will be taken over by Porto's Christian Atsu.

The 21-year-old who has failed to match the expectations at the tournament will be hoping to get it right this time around.

Probable line-up: Fatau Dauda, John Paintsil, Harrison Afful, John Boye, Isaac Vorsah, Rabiu Mohammed, Albert Adomah, Agyemang Badu, Asamoah Gyan, Christian Atsu, Kwadwo Asamoah.
