2013 Afcon: Ghana land in Port Elizabeth today
The team is arriving at their tournament base four days before their opening game against Claude Le Roy’s DR Congo
Ghana’s contingent for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations is expected to touch base in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on Thursday.The four-time African champions have been in training camp in Abu Dhabi, UAE over the last 11-days and left the Gulf Region late Tuesday night.
They are arriving four days ahead of their opening fixture against DR Congo on January 20.
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges spent a night in Johannesburg before travelling to Port Elizabeth Thursday.
Ghana’s other opponent in Group B are Mali and Niger.
