Togo pitch training camp in Ghana ahead of 2013 Afcon

The west African country is making their seventh appearance at the Afcon and has been grouped with giants Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Algeria
The Hawks of Togo are in Ghana for their training camp ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off in South Africa on January 19.

Togo who are in the ‘Group of death’ will battle the likes of Cote D'Ivoire and the North African duo of Algeria and Tunisia for supremacy as they seek to qualify for the second round for the first time in their history.

The Hawks will train at the Accra Sports Stadium and play a couple of friendly games with some of the premiership clubs in Ghana before finally going back to Togo to enplane to South Africa.

Coach Didier Six announced Togo's Africa Cup of Nations squad on Wednesday with Emmanuel Adebayor returning to the side. Togo will be making their seventh appearance in the African Cup of Nations after defeating Gabon to qualify.
