The Stallions, who failed to impress in the last two editions, will hope to surprise with a striking force led by Moumouni Dagano

Burkina Faso coach Paul Put has put out his final 23-man squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The Stallions will be hoping to go past the first round of the tournament with a contingent that consists of Jonathan Pitroipa and Alain Traore of French Ligue 1 sides Rennes and Lorient respectively.

The west Africans have been unimpressive in the last two editions. Having customers such as Nigeria, defending champions Zambia and Ethiopia in Group C, means Put and his charges need to give out their best to make a case in South Africa. The squad is as follows:
