Second-tier English soccer outfit Birmingham City have struck a one-year kit supply deal with Carbrini.
The JD Sports-owned brand will replace Diadora as the Blues’ kit provider from the start of the 2014/15 Championship campaign. The new home, away and third kits, along with a range of training gear, will be released later this month.
No financial terms were released. The deal follows front-of-shirt sponsor Zapaygo’s signing on Wednesday.
JD Sports’ head of football, Guy Walker, said: “We have built a great relationship with the club over the past two years and are delighted that the Carbrini brand will be associated with such a prestigious club as Birmingham City.
“The two previous seasons under the endorsement of the Diadora brand was very well received by both the club and the fans and as Carbrini will become more dominant and apparent within the football sector, we felt it was only right to have a club of their stature wearing the Carbrini brand for the 2014/15 season.”
