German 1.Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt has strengthened its commercial portfolio by extending a sponsorship deal with national railway organisation Deutsche Bahn for a further two seasons, from 2013-14 to 2014-15.
The deal was brokered by the Sportfive agency on behalf of the club. Deutsche Bahn has been a premium partner of Frankfurt since 2002. It is the second sponsorship deal of the week to be unveiled by the club following the news of insurance firm DFV upgrading its relationship to a premium partner status for three years, from 2013-14 to 2015-16.
“We are delighted that Deutsche Bahn is still standing by our side and we are also proud that this collaboration has been a true partnership of continuity, particularly as it is now entering its 12th season,” the club’s chief executive, Heribert Bruchhagen, said.
Sportfive director Thorsten Rittersberger added: “It is impressive to see how they have continued to innovate through the partnership, again and again, creating new approaches and co-operations. We are very happy to extend this deal for another two seasons.
